Governor Peninsula is the Landmine’s newest series with weekly episodes that highlights the state of the 2026 political election – part satire, part soap opera, part frontier political circus. The series is a weird, wood-paneled political fever dream where lodge-room drama, backwater power plays, and Alaska-style absurdity collide. Set in a world of animal politicians (based on satirical versions of Alaska’s own political figures), suspicious meetings, old grudges, and sudden lake-borne trouble, the series plays like a lost 90s cartoon for grown-ups.
