Six of Anchorage’s 12 Assembly seats are up this year. Three incumbents – Assembly members Zac Johnson, Anna Brawley and George Martinez – are seeking re-election. Two Assembly members, Chris Constant and Felix Rivera, are termed out. And Assembly member Scott Myers is not seeking re-election. 

Ballots for the Assembly races, two Anchorage School Board races, and bond propositions went out go out in the mail on March 17. They are due back by April 7. 

The Landmine will be doing debates for all six Assembly races, though some candidates did not respond to our invitation. And we did not invite candidates who are not raising money and campaigning.
