About a month ago, the Landmine noticed a clear lack of coverage when it came to legislative races. In order to fix that, the small staff here at the Landmine picked two primary races to profile where the incumbent isn’t running for re-election. One district very Democratic – the other very Republican. In both of these races, it’s very likely that the winner of the primary will end up being the next legislator for that district. This is the first of the two profiles that we are producing this cycle.
