A few week ago I was at a fundraiser for Representative Jason Grenn. I ran into Senator Donny Olson and we started chatting. Turns out he’s a Landmine reader! He mentioned he had just flown from Boston in a plane he had purchased. The plane is a Grumman Widgeon, a not so common seaplane. I jokingly asked him if I could go for a ride. Well, as the saying goes, ask and you shall receive. Senator Olson said after a few things were done he would take me up. He also added that the plane used to belong to Jimmy Buffett! As a longtime Parrothead I could not have been more excited.

True to his word, Senator Olson called me and asked if I was free to go for a flight. I told him absolutely. We met at Merrill Field and had an awesome flight. I got some footage on my iPhone, which my good friend Cale Green turned into this awesome video. Nice work, Cale.
